BeefHQ is provided by JLGNZ Ltd (Auckland, New Zealand) as an information and record-keeping tool for farmers. It does not provide financial, tax, legal, veterinary or health and safety advice. This Disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service.
Schedule prices shown in BeefHQ are indicative figures compiled from published processor schedules and market sources. They are not quotes, and they are not offers to buy your stock. Actual prices you are paid will depend on your processor, your contract, grading, yield, transport, timing and other factors outside our control.
Forecasts are generated by statistical and AI models using market data such as futures prices, exchange rates and demand indicators. They are predictions, not guarantees. Markets move unpredictably and forecasts will sometimes be wrong, including by a wide margin. Confidence scores indicate model confidence only, not accuracy.
Do not rely on BeefHQ alone when deciding when or at what price to sell livestock. Nothing in the app is financial advice under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 or a recommendation to enter any transaction. Confirm prices with your processor or agent, and seek independent advice for significant decisions.
The tax summary and reporting features are record-keeping aids only. They are not tax advice and are not a substitute for professional accounting.
Livestock valuation options in the app are provided for convenience. Inland Revenue issues new national standard cost and herd scheme determinations from time to time, and values in the app may not reflect the current determination or the valuation method your business has elected. Head counts, stock classes and transactions are only as accurate as the data you enter.
You are solely responsible for your tax returns and for meeting your Inland Revenue obligations. Have your chartered accountant review and apply the correct valuations before filing.
Safety plans, hazard registers, induction documents and sign-on records generated by BeefHQ are templates and record-keeping tools. They are not legal advice and we do not warrant that they meet your obligations.
Using BeefHQ does not by itself discharge your duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 or any other legislation. If you run a farm business you remain the PCBU, and you are responsible for identifying your own hazards, consulting your workers, and taking reasonably practicable steps to keep people safe. Have your documents reviewed by a competent health and safety adviser.
Health, drench, spray, breeding and feed records — including withholding periods and due dates — are recorded and calculated from what you enter. They are not veterinary advice. Always follow the product label, ACVM registration conditions and your vet's instructions, and confirm withholding periods independently before supplying stock for processing.
Paddock boundaries, areas and map features are approximate and drawn by you. They are not survey data and must not be used to determine legal boundaries, land titles or precise areas.
News headlines and summaries are collected from third-party publishers and remain the property of those publishers. We do not endorse or verify their content. Market and exchange rate data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable.
Price alerts, shift reminders and task notifications depend on your device, network and permission settings, and on third-party delivery services. They may be delayed or fail to arrive. Do not rely on them as your only reminder for time-critical or safety-critical work.
You are responsible for your own farming, financial and compliance decisions. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer rights described in our Terms of Service, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on information in BeefHQ.
